Burlington Northern Railroad Network Control Center

State of the art operations center controlling all worldwide railroad operations for Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad. The tornado resistant (class 3) building contains numerous N+1 backup systems to provide total uptime operations. Direct control of major purchases resulted in the general construction contract being less than 50% of the total hard cost budget. The 250,000 square foot building and adjoining 900-car underground parking garage was completed on time and $6 million under budget.
